Fashion Week of 2010 was scheduled from Thursday, February 11 to Thursday, February 18, 2010. Designers gathered from around the world to exhibit their Fall 2010 collections. Victoria Beckham, a former Spice Girl posh, appeared at this event and has made a name for herself in the fashion world, showing off her array of slim dresses to the likes of Project Runway’s Nina Garcia. Mid-1990 the Spice Girls were the next big thing. This British band was formed in 1994, and was made up of five energetic girls who each took unique nicknames; Sporty Spice (Melanie Chisholm, Mel C), Posh Spice (Victoria Adams), Ginger Spice (Geri Halliwell , also known as Sexy Spice), Baby Spice (Emma Bunton), and Scary Spice (Melanie Brown, also known as Mel B).The Spice Girls had two major albums with many hit songs that launched their international fame, the group sold more than 50 million albums worldwide, and in 1997 their was a huge motion picture released titled spiceworld which only bumped up their fame even more. I know during my childhood i loved listening to the spice girls, and they had quite the influence on my taste of music. I started to memorize their songs by heart, and went to their concerts even at that young age. By far the worst dressed at the Grammy Awards 2010 was Britney Spears. During the event, Britney was all smiles, which is always good considering her past. Her hair looked especially unsnarled and long, which is also refreshing. Why though, did she decide to wear a black leotard to a red carpet event? She tried layering it with a mesh covering and fishnet stockings, but that only added to the mess. I was expecting her to break out in ballerina moves during the whole show, but was severly let down.

One of the latest "Hot Topics" is an original MTV show, Jersey Shore. This new show has had a lot of influence on it's viewers based on, but not limited to, partying and the "Fist pumping", the drama and the language, and the Guido style. But it doesn't only effect the everyday viewer, it influences celebrities such as, Michael Cera. He follows in the footsteps of, Mike "The Situation", DJ Pauly D, Ronnie, and Vinny, when he lets them give him a Jersey Shore makeover. So not only does the average teenager mimic celebrities, other celebrities do too.
